Walk Off Those Calories You Consumed
Did you know that in order for you to shake off the calories in a 500ml bottle of iced tea you just consumed, you will have to walk around 2 kilometres?!
And how about a 375 ml bottle of soft drink? For that you need to walk around 3 km to burn off the calories.
So if you had a bottle of iced tea during lunch and a bottle of soft drink with your dinner, just how far you should be walking to shake off those calories!
Cancer Council’s Rethink Sugary Drink campaign is definitely a very good reminder for us to limit (if not totally remove) the habit of drinking sugary drinks.
