Tooth Abrasion

Tooth abrasion is a type of tooth wear that is thought to be a consequence of overzealous tooth brushing habits. Abrasion is usually characterised by round or V-like lesions at the neck of the teeth. In an article by the British Dental Journal on the Current concepts on the management of tooth wear, abrasion is one of the kinds of tooth wear discussed.
