Is Sedation Dentistry Safe?

People sometimes wonder whether Intravenous Sedation is a safe means of having their dentistry performed, especially once they become aware that the sedation is achieved by introducing sedative drugs directly into their body through a vein.

There is always a risk associated with the use of any anaesthetic agent, whether it’s an intravenous agent or whether it’s a general anaesthetic administered in hospital. However, at Corinna Dental we carefully assess each patient who is considering having their dentistry done here under Intravenous Sedation, and ensure that all risks are clearly explained to them.

Listen to Dr Chris Hardwicke as he explains more about Intravenous Sedation at Corinna Dental  or call our practice (any of our three locations) to arrange a consultation appointment.
