Convoy for Cancer Families (2 February):  A convoy of trucks and motorcycles will parade from  Hoskins St, Mitchell to Anketell St, in Tuggeranong. Event starts at 10 am until 6pm. More about it here:

National Arboretum Opening (2 February): Tomorrow Canberra’s newest tourist attraction, the National National Arboretum Canberra, opens. The botanical garden is home to “100 forests and 100 gardens of threatened and symbolic trees from Australia and around the world”.
