This study by the Nutrition Research is a good reminder of the effect of frequent consumption of wine—white wine, particularly—on the teeth, especially during the holiday season where people tend to consume more wine.
In this study, erosive potentials of red and white wine were compared and it showed that white wines have “higher erosive potentials than red wines” and that frequent consumption of the former may lead to severe dental erosion.
