Can Any Type Of Treatment Be Done Under Intravenous Sedation?
The short answer is yes. Just about any type of dental care, including dental x-rays and impressions for crown and bridge work, can be carried out whilst the patient is in the relaxed state brought about be the use of intravenous sedation.
The main exception would be the fitting of orthodontic braces, which is a treatment that we don’t carry out whilst the patient is sedated.
